Stitching with Over-Dyed Floss
When stitching with over-dyed floss, complete each cross-stitch in full before moving on to the next. This method will keep the gradual color changes of the floss in your stitching. The traditional method of completing an entire row of half cross-stitches before going back and finishing the full cross-stitches will result in a more uniform color because the subtle variations will be lost.
